Eagle's Grade on Philly.com

http://www.philly.com/philly/hp/sports/20070924_Domowitchs_Eagles-Lions_Report_Card.html

The writer scores the offense, passing game, running game, etc. for Sunday's game against the Lions...His final score was a B+...How is this possible when the Eagles scored 56 points?! If that's not an A game, then I don't know what one is!

Directions for Journalism 2 Blogs

Directions for Blogging in Journalism 2
Create your own blog by going to http://www.blogger.com/
You can be as creative as you'd like in creating your own blog.
Once you've followed all of the steps and created your blog, please provide me with your URL, username, and password. I need to be able to edit posts if necessary. I also need to create a list of the URL addresses so that you will all be able to read each other's posts.

Part 1: Must be completed by the end of the period on Tuesday each week. (30 points)
Each week, you will need to find at least 1 article that you find interesting or that evokes a strong reaction, and you need to respond to it. It can be from any section in the newspaper.
1. You will need to create a new post.
2. In the new post, you will need to introduce the article and provide the URL so that others can read it.
3. You will need to briefly summarize the article.
4. State why the article is important and/or what you learned from it.
5. What is your opinion or reaction? How does it affect us? What do we need to do with the information in the article?

Part 2: Must be completed by the end of the period on Thursday each week. (30 points)
You will need to leave comments on posts created by 3 other blogs in the class.
Your comments should relate to what the blogger wrote in his/her post. React to the bloggers opinions. Start up a dialogue. Show that you've read the article and can contribute to the ideas initially posted.
